After more than 13 years of having vacation homes in the Branson area, we have embarked on our latest addition to our distinctive and high quality homes. After listening to our thousands of guests who have stayed with us over the years, and hearing their preferences, we have taken their input and have built Heritage Retreat.
Once we found the best location, with a view of Table Rock Lake, and just 6 minutes from the Hwy 76 strip, 5 minutes to the marina, 2 minutes to Moonshine Beach and the dam, and 10 minutes to Silver Dollar City, we knew it was time to build our perfect vacation home.
With 10 master suites, 10 1/2 bath, and the most popular amenities that guests have mentioned, this unique home is the perfect vacation rental for family reunions, church groups, golf trips, ladies gatherings, couples vacationing together, and even business conferences.
Heritage Retreat will accommodate up to 46 people with over 7,000 square feet inside the home.
Welcome to Heritage Retreat
Entering Heritage Retreat, you are greeted with the large dining/ kitchen/ great room area and the see-through gas fireplace with stone up to the ceiling. The exposed beams, open catwalk, and windmill fan add to the expanse and grandeur of the home. The large windows on either side of the fireplace give a view of Table Rock Lake. In the fall, warm up to the cozy see-through fireplace, whether inside or outside on the back deck.
The dining area has four, 8 foot, custom made dining tables which will seat 40 people at the tables and there is also seating at the kitchen island and at the counter. A large dining area with plenty of seating is one of the top preferences our guests have mentioned.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all your group and has plenty of dinnerware and pantry space for those groceries. There are two kitchen sinks, two stoves, two dishwashers, microwave, and a refrigerator with freezer. With all that seating, you may need all that this kitchen provides for those delicious meal preparations. In the adjoining room you will find another fridge/freezer and an ice machine. You do not have to pack clothes for everyday as there are also three large capacity washers and dryers in here and we do provide laundry soap and dryer sheets. After a few hours on Moonshine Beach, you’ll want to wash those swimsuits for the next day’s activities.
Dining hall to seat your entire family
The great room area features a large 70″ flat screen smart TV. The dining tables can be arranged so conference presentations can be made using the big screen. Or hook your computer up to display family pictures to everyone. Each TV in the home will have its own HDMI outlet for computers and video games to be played on the screen. This way you will not have to get behind the TV and mess with any cords. You can hook direct through the HDMI outlet, a big advantage for my generation.
Slide open the barn doors which lead to the two master suites on the main level. The one to the left is fully ADA handicap accessible with a king bed, roll-in shower, and roll-up bathroom sink. This room sleeps two. The other room to the right has a king bed, daybed with trundle, tub/shower, and its own door to the back deck. It sleeps four. Each bedroom has its own TV and a ceiling fan. On each side of the beds are a sconce light with a floating shelf, outlets, and USB ports for charging your electronics.
If you enjoy beautiful sunsets, the back deck is the place to be. Off the great room is the door to magnificent lake views from the back deck. On those cooler nights, pull up a chair next to the outdoor fireplace (remember, it is see-through and works both ways).
At the top of the stairs going to the upper level, you find yourself on the open catwalk with railings on both sides. A great place to sit for more private conversations, a game of checkers, or to play classic games on the cocktail arcade table. You do remember how to use a real joy stick? Show the kids the games you grew up with.
There are four master suites on the upper level, each with a king bed, daybed with trundle, its own TV, and bathroom with a walk-in shower. They each sleep four. Distinctive features include custom made closets with shelving and cubbies so you are not living out of a suitcase. As with the main level, each side of the beds has a sconce light, floating shelf with outlets for electric, and USB ports for charging your electronics. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.
When you stay in one of these master suites, you get to step out on your own private balcony to enjoy some peace and quiet while drinking your morning coffee and relishing the gorgeous lake view, or relax after a busy day with a glass of wine and view the beautiful sunset over the lake, another unique feature of Heritage Retreat. From here you will want to take some vacation pictures to post on Facebook. You will also find a third washer and dryer on this level.
The lower level has four master suites. Three have a king bed, daybed with trundle, their own TV, and a walk-in shower. They each sleep four and have the same floating shelves with charging capabilities as the other levels. The fourth is our bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds and one set of full bunk beds, sleeping up to eight. Each bunk has its own light. The bunk room has its own bathroom with walk-in shower. These are not just kiddie bunks. Adults can use them as well. One of the bunks is full over full size. All the bedrooms on this level have their own TV and ceiling fan. The bunk room does not have a ceiling fan for safety to the top bunk guests.
There is a 70″ flat screen smart TV in the lower level family room, great for watching the game. Need a refill or some popcorn? No need to climb the stairs as there is a kitchenette/wet bar on this level with a third refrigerator, microwave, sink, and pub table with stools.
Take a break from the electronic games and play some billiards on the pool table. Or have a tournament on the air hockey table.
On the back patio you will find two propane grills. The family grillmaster will enjoy.
Slide the glass doors and step out on the back patio. Here you will find more comfortable furniture and the gas fire pit. Who does not like to sit around the fire and have a few drinks with a lake view in the background. No need to hassle with firewood or starting a fire, just click the fire on for instant heat and enjoyment. After a long day of activities, roast some hot dogs or marshmallows and make some smores. Maybe get out the bean bags and have some competition with the cornhole game which we provide.
The swim/spa is the main highlight of the back patio. Another of our guest’s top preferences is a private hot tub for adults and heated swim area for the kids. It is only for our guests staying at Heritage Retreat. This swim spa is 20 feet long and 7 1/2 feet wide. Relax and drift away as you let the spa jets soothe your muscles.
The spa is divided from the swim area and is heated to 102 degrees. The swim portion is 15 feet long and heated at 80 degrees with an eternity swim jet which allows adults to swim as far as they want without going anywhere. It is a great work out. However, I plan to use the hot tub portion and watch my grandkids in the swim area.
You must be 16 years old to stay in the hot tub for longer periods of time as it is not safe for young children to be in there for more than 10 minutes. But they will love the swim portion and you will probably end up joining them.
In the summer, take advantage of the on-site community amenities which include outdoor and swimming pool, tanning deck, kiddie splash pad, and playground. Take advantage of the indoor heated swimming pool which is open year round. Great for those rainy days or when staying during the cooler parts of the year.
There is a quiet cove on the lake just about a 1/4 mile stroll from the house where you can fish or just skip rocks across the water.
Boating on the Lake
State Park marina is about 2 miles away where you can rent all kinds of water craft for an adventure on Table Rock Lake. You can go to the marina, or you can use the courtesy dock at the Chateau about 1/2 mile away. You can call State Park marina and they will bring a boat over to the courtesy dock where you can load and unload your party. Bringing your own boat? There is a public boat launch at Moonshine Beach and you can load and unload at the courtesy dock and even gas up there. State Park marina will also rent a boat slip for your stay if you prefer.
Heritage Retreat is pet-friendly. The pet fee is $35 per night, per pet. Only dogs are allowed. Due to association rules, guests may bring up to two dogs, each must be no more than 25 lbs., or one dog no more than 40 lbs. If you are bringing a furry family member, you must mention how many in your reservation request and I will send a payment request for the pet fee.
Our family enjoyed a reunion and Grandparents 65th wedding anniversary at this lovely location. The view is breathtaking each morning and evening. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and utensils to make meal prep easy.
This marvelous house is spacious with room enough for our entire family to enjoy. We definitely will choose Heritage Retreat for future reunions.

Table Rock Lake is closer than it appears! Simply walk to the end of our street and down the hill, and a perfect quiet cove reveals itself. This shallow cove is great for wading, splashing, and a bit of fishing.
