About us

Beginning in 1964, my parents began an annual trek to Branson and Silver Dollar City with my two younger sisters and me. Then in 1979, I escorted my lovely bride to Branson for our honeymoon. Boy, have things changed in Branson since that time!

Over the following years, we brought our children to Branson whenever we could for a vacation. As our children grew in size and numbers, it became more difficult to find a place where we could all stay together. With six children and spouses added on every so often, it got to the point where we were getting three or more hotel rooms.

During one of our early family trips, when the children were old enough to go on roller coaster rides by themselves, June and I sat in the shade at Silver Dollar City and dreamed of someday having a place where families could come to Branson and retreat together all in one location.

Our dream became reality in 2005 when we purchased our first log home on Table Rock Lake. Shortly thereafter, we purchased our second log home in a secluded setting surrounded by trees with an awesome view of Table Rock Lake.

These two homes are large enough to sleep up to sixteen people for families vacationing together. We felt that if there were other families like ours, who wanted a peaceful sanctuary to be together, with room for everyone, these two homes would be perfect.

After our first year, we found that there are indeed many families who desire to stay in a place where they can get away from the neon lights and honking horns of the bustling Branson strip. And yet, our homes are close enough to the hub of Branson’s attractions and the fun activities of Table Rock Lake that families can easily enjoy the appeal and excitement of Branson, Missouri, without going far.

Our guests’ responses to our first two vacation homes was more than we initially expected. The heartwarming comments we received from these families staying together encouraged us to purchase six additional homes over the next several years.

Because of our desire to help families become stronger, we also use our homes to personally lead marriage seminar retreats for couples. We believe that it is only by God’s grace and gifting that we have these homes, and we will be giving an account to God as to how we have used our homes for His glory.
